We will have Labor Day Weekend off from gravball, and return to start the playoffs on September 12th. The Bagman semi-finals will take place on the 12th, and the Bagman finals and BOTR finals will be on the 19th. The schedule will be posted shortly.

Lund-Slapper: Just wanted to let you know Cruel that you did the right thing by unloading Allust off of Dads to even this season out and to make the playoffs competitive. Thanks and I know you guys will still have a strong chance, so you've made the right choice. Allust, thanks for taking this hit for the league... you are a great dude and leaving the squad with the roster lock in place really makes a bold statement that you are not selfishly going after a BagMan title, but are interested in the future of the league and the quality of the playoffs.

Traxamillion: I know its been already talked about having a salary season for next season . But after this week with 2 team forfeiting it seems like we are fading. I love playing this game and I dont want this to turn into sl. What can we do to bring back pub and keep this league active.

1. First we should start playing pub more.

Mallow: Hey all you Excel wizzes out there, I need a bit of help with creating a function.

First off I need a function to sum a row up in its entireity while ignoring one cell.

I'll give an example

5 6 7 8 9 10 Total

I need the row to sum itself (by creating a sum function in the "total" cell) but I need the function to IGNORE the cell which contains the total, so it doesn't loop itself into infinity.

Then I need a cell to count up if it contains a certain value what I'm doing is I'm having a column list if something is Substandard or Qualified, SS or Q for short. I need to create a cell that totals up the # of SS's and the # of Q's.

HAAAAAAAAAALP!

Volv: =SUM(A$1:INDIRECT(ADDRESS(ROW(),COLUMN()-1)))

where A$1 = first cell in row

Alternatively, create a blank column before your sum cell and include it in your sum, then when you want to add a column add it to the left of the blank column.
